The frameworks of rules that permeate every aspect of our existence are a social construct, created with the ideal of fairness and equality in mind. How we react to rules is how we answer the question a rule poses. Some of us acknowledge but reject certain rules, while others find comfort in following them. My study has investigated the nature of rules at the same time as using and experimenting with rules in relation to graphic design practice and wider focusses of life in general.
