I have never been to Mexico. I unfortunately live in one of the countries where the digital age has wiped out hand painted signage and left us with dull and lifeless signs everywhere I look. I do however, have access to the internet and through ‘Google Street View’ I have been able to virtually travel the streets of these fascinating Mexican towns gawping at the art adorning the walls. I have collated a series of images taken from ‘Google Street View’, from a variety of cities, towns and small villages that show case the beauty that is Mexican Sign Painting, still very much alive in the 21st century.
