Rag Trade is an editorial about consumerism and manufacturing in the textile industry which explores people’s relationship with clothes and how this relates to throw away culture; for example whether or not they repair clothes or throw them away and what do they know about how or where the products were manufactured. Rag Trade also looks at production techniques involved in making clothes including printing and dying methods as well as tips and instructions of how to repair or maintain clothes. The design is kept clean with experimental layouts to keep the reader interested whilst making it easy to follow.
