Throughout my extended study in Graphic design, I saw out a 6 week residency at The Prospect Hospice working with a collective of ladies in their day hospice unit. ‘Reminiscence through art therapy’ consisted of 6 art therapy sessions that addressed different topics weekly. During the sessions, stories and photos were shared around the group and we created bunting Pennants based on each theme. As a subsidiary to the stories I was documenting, I created bespoke monograms for each of the ladies, inspired by their stories and their history. I embroidered each design into a handkerchief, for them to enjoy.
