“The Activist’s Guide” is a publication and film that work in tandem to keep activists safe when protesting in the UK. Worn with the supplied lanyard, the publication provides laws and articles to keep protesters free from harm, including the Human Rights Act, Freedom of Information Act, and Public Order Act 1986. The accompanying film compiles footage of protests, designed to motivate and reassure new activists, demonstrating that protests are an inevitable part of defending the rights of UK citizens. The publication and film utilise the DADA movement as the inspiration for the art direction, inspired by the wide variety of protests that occur each year in the UK.
